Hot Air Balloons

Last weekend in Lexington there was a Hot Air Balloon festival. There were 4 or 5 that landed in the hay field alone. I wasn't there to see it, but my friends at the barn called me to share in the excitement.

Fog

I miss fog. It makes me feel cozy. We don't get a whole lot of fog in Lexington.

I like the angle of this photo, although I wish the reins had not been in the photo.

Conditioning

I just finished doing conditioning sets in the pouring rain and sloppy mud. It's great practice to ride under conditions such as those (especially on hills at speed) but that doesn't make it any more enjoyable when I get back to the barn and have a pile of sodden mud-covered tack to clean.

"MudBall." It's almost as fun as bringing in a sodden mud-covered Tweed from the field.

Smarties

When I was little I used to think that Smarties looked like chewable pill tablets. Now I know they're just delicious candies.

I like the angles in this photo made by the horses and the fence.

The Internet

In my lecture this morning my professor showed us a picture of the internet. Very cool.

I like the depth of focus here. 

Online Shopping

Online shopping is terribly addicting and instantly gratifying. Not a good combination.

I think I like the second of these two shots better because of the angle formed by Tweed's head to his leg.

Leggings

One of my favorite articles of lounge clothing are leggings. They're flexible and warm.

I like the first photo because of the vertical lines the 4 legs create in the photo. I like the second photo because of the shallow depth of focus that is focused in the foreground.

Rain, Rain, Won't You Stay

Rainy days are nice as long as you've got nowhere to go. I came back from my lab, crawled in bed, and watched CBS online.

I think the fact that Tweed is out of focus in the background makes the photo more interesting.

Blueberry Bagels

I have previously sung the praises of blueberry muffins and would now like to comment on the deliciousness of blueberry bagels. They remind me of my statistics class from senior year of high school where I would eat a blueberry bagel with cream cheese during lectures.

My mother asked me to post this photo because she really likes it. I like it as well, the clouds are really amazing.

Water

Water is a drink I could afford to drink a lot more of. All this time in the sun has left me perpetually dehydrated.

"Legs." I enjoy the angles of Tweed's limbs across the image.
